Greyson’s Toys

  • What age range do you cater to?
    We offer toys suitable for ages zero to seven years old.
  • What kind of toys do you have?
    Most toys are inspired by the Waldorf philosophy. Greyson’s toys are all high quality open ended wooden toys. They are not only eco friendly but also ethically made in Europe or North America, so you won’t find anything made in China other than the playsilks, which are hand dyed by us. The best silks are found in China which is why you will see the “Made in China” tag.
  • How are the toys cleaned?
  1. We wipe them with a damp cloth and mild natural dish soap.
  2. We spray them with diluted organic apple cider vinegar.
  3. We let the toys dry at room temperature. 
  • When can I choose my next set of toys?
    You can choose your new toys once your monthly payment has been processed.
  • What if I damage or lose a toy?
    We do expect that you take care of the toys as if they were your own and follow the care and cleaning instructions included in your toy bag. But life happens! If an item is lost or broken, let us know as soon as possible; we will confirm the replacement cost and charge it to the card on file for your membership.
  • What condition are the toys in?
    All our toys have been played with by Greyson and his friends, so you will see some cosmetic alterations with minor surface wear and tear. As wooden toy lovers, we take the highest care for these items and hope you will too. 
  • Can we return only part of the toys we’ve borrowed and keep the rest another month?
    Unfortunately, no. In order to receive a new set of toys, all toys need to be returned. It follows our toy rotation philosophy and wish for Greyson to play with all his toys alternately.
  • If a toy I want is unavailable, can I reserve it for the following month?Our system does not allow for this yet, however,r if you send us an email indicating which toy you wish to reserve, we will do everything we can to accommodate your wish. 

Membership

  • Why become a member?
    As a member you will have access to a beautiful collection of Waldorf inspired wooden toys while reducing waste, consumerism, and saving some money. 
  • How many times can I swap toys?
    Our concept only allows 1 swap per month for now.
  • Can I change my membership or cancel any time?
    There is no minimum commitment for our memberships and you can cancel at any time. However, you will miss out on that 6thmonth bonus!

    If you feel that you need to change your plan to suit your family needs, you can do so at any time.
  • Are there late fees?
    At this time, we do not charge late fees, however it does affect other children’s play when you don’t return a toy on time so please remember this. If we notice to many cases of tardiness, we might implement late fees.
  • We are coming to Whistler on vacation, could my kids borrow some of Greyson’s toys for a week or two?
    At this time Greyson’s toys are available to our local community only. But if you have a very special request, please email us and we will see if we can help.

Delivery                                                      

  • What area do you serve?
    For now, we only serve the community of Whistler.
  • What are my delivery options?
    We have two delivery options:
    - Meet around story time at the Whistler Library: Free of charge.
    - At your home: $10/month.

  • Library delivery times are as follows, except holidays:
    - Mondays at 10:00am.
    - Tuesdays at 10:30am.
    - Wednesdays at 10:30am.
    - Fridays at 10:30am.
